Mornington Peninsula Shire Council has been a Member of Dial Before You Dig Vic/Tas for almost ten years. The Shire spans 723 sq kilometres and encompasses $2 billion worth of assets that fall under four main categories: Transportation, Drainage, Building and Open Space assets.
Mornington Peninsula Shire Council recently adopted our Automation software - DBYD Automate – to assist with automated notifications and responses to DBYD enquiries received within their Area of Interest.
By implementing this innovative solution, Mornington Peninsula Shire Council has also added its tree layer to their GIS data. This enables Mornington Council to share their tree care guide alongside plans and information when responding to DBYD enquiries to help protect these natural assets.
With DBYD Automate in place, Mornington Peninsular Shire Council has full visibility of all DBYD enquiries in real-time, with alerts enabled on works near critical assets. DBYD Automate service solution streamlines the notification and response process for DBYD Enquiries, saving time and resources as well as providing greater insight and improved management of works occurring within the Council boundary.
